ARLENE SHIVER

Arlene Shiver comes to fused glass  with a background in welding. Glass with its rainbow of colors has been for more expressive that cold steel.

She works mostly in bright colors and with an abstract bent. Not having an art background, her pieces are more representative and whimsical.

Fused glass helps her tap into her left brain creativity which has lain dormant during her right brain working career.  Her art has been both an outlet and an awakening.
